This past weekend (August 9, 2014) Bryan Snyder of Snyder Art, You know that little character “Doodle” you see around Melrose and other Street Art hotspots in So Cal? Yeah, that guy. He had an awesome event this past weekend that should enthrone him as one of the art and real estate worlds greatest minds. Brian created the “Snyder Art Crawl” located in beautiful Carlsbad Village in Carlsbad CA.

The Art Crawl had art lovers of all ages trekking through sand, gravel and businesses searching for artwork exclusive to the artist. This event was ground breaking in many ways. It allowed newbies to the Carlsbad area to explore the shops, businesses and everyday life that residents enjoy so much, it also gave art lovers an adventure and even a map to direct you to the “treasure”.

I arrived super early at Carlsbad Yoga and Fitness to get a jump on the competition and Brian was there setting up his toolbox to complete a new mural on the shop wall featuring Doodle and a new character.

It was our first time meeting after email exchanges and FB Messages and the man definitely represents the art. Brian is an energetic artist equipped with ideas and energy. Great attributes for a professional taste creator.

The first ten “artsies” that completed, won free art. At that point for me, the game was on. The whole crawl took me 3 hours to complete. I had to have walked about 2 miles and sweated out lbs, but the art I seen on the way was amazing. Be sure to stay tuned for more on Snyder Art!
