Last night I had the chance to attend an art show for one of the dopest artists I’ve ever had to pleasure to see. I know that gets tossed around alot so let me clarify why I say this. Nosego’s work is surrealism to the next level. When I view his work I am immediately baffled. There is no beginning and no end to the creativity he brings to each piece.

You can view his work almost like a piece of sushi (haha). If you step back and look from afar, you see this glowing masterpiece of creativity just floating of the canvas like early saturday morning cartoons used to do for me. But its the moment when you walk closer and focus your eyes on each element inside each element, you’re immediately lost, but in a good way.

Meeting Nosego is just as cool. Very embracing, accepting and appreciative of the praises that I continually gave him over his work. And its with that humbling nature that makes me enjoy his craft even more. And did I mention he was from Philly? No, Ok. yeah that too. (Haha). I can tell we share the same child like mentality where nothing is impossible and what you can imagine, you can create and it’s evident in the pieces that he creates.

His imagination transcends what is normal and gives us a new sense of “reality”. I can’t wait to attend more of his shows and purchase an original piece of work for my home collection. Huge Thank You to ThinkSpace Gallery for the awesome setup and hospitality throughout the event. We will be sure to be regulars for the shows! Check out some of the artwork below!
