I had the amazing pleasure of witnessing Theaster Gates perform at the Underground Museum and it was mind-blowing. Along with The Black Monks of Mississippi, Theaster turned the museum into a southern baptist church mixing elements of church harmony and jazz scat combinations that left the room stunned with emotional silence. I was honored to be in the room. Even though I didn’t capture the whole film, what i could document is worth the same amount as a full film. I hope you enjoy!
