Billionaire buys. As you’ve probably heard or read by now. Untitled, 1982 by Jean-Michel Basquiat sold for $110.5 million at Sotheby’s auction on May 19th by Yusaku Maezawa (@yuzaku2020). Records: High for a work by any American artist, for a black artist and the first work created since 1980 to make over $100 million.
