One of the things in my career that I have been most proud of is my ability to assess a situation and adapt. The world, and especially this art world, is forever changing, and sometimes the original plan you had to win, fails. And sometimes, it just needs a little adjustment. Being able to recognize that has allowed me to be a crucial asset in the growth of thinking and behavior with artists and professionals in the business. I think having the opportunity to experience different facets of the business gave me the confidence I needed to pursue the career goals I have. And as I get closer, the challenges grow, but so do the rewards of good habits. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is patience and a “double look” decision-making process where you look past what you see and into what you don’t. That’s usually where the solution lies.
